The Role This is an on-site position in Tampa where you will serve as a key member of a small, talented legal team. You will handle a high-level caseload, which includes complex cases involving auto, trucking, boating, and diving accidents, as well as nursing home, wrongful death, and other serious personal injury matters. The firm's goal is to take every case to trial, and you will be expected to prepare cases from start to finish.
This is a senior-level role, reporting directly to the firm's owner. While you won't be managing other attorneys, you will be expected to serve as a mentor and expert for the team. The firm has a dedicated support staff, including a Litigation Paralegal, Medical Coder, and Scheduler, to ensure you can focus on litigation.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years dedicated to personal injury trial work.
- First-Chair Experience: First-chair trial experience is highly preferred.
- Background: Candidates must have a background in plaintiff personal injury, but applicants with both defense and plaintiff experience are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
