- A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Accounting (or a Finance degree with proven accounting experience).
- 1-3 years of accounting experience in a public or industry setting.
- Outstanding communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus!

Responsibilities
As the Staff Accountant, you'll be the backbone of the financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily, weekly, and monthly accounts payable and receivable.
- Spearheading the monthly close process.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations with precision.
- Collaborating on the development of a new grant tracking system.
- Assisting in preparing for external audits and the annual Form 990.
- Gathering business requirements for significant financial system upgrades.
- Aiding the CFO in updating accounting policies, procedures, and various HR projects.
- Tackling special projects that come your way, offering new challenges and growth opportunities.
