We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to manage manufacturing production flow, ensuring we meet customer demand efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing scheduling, inventory control, and materials management.

salary: $53,000 - $56,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Logistics & Vendor Communication:
  
  
  • Communicating with customers via phone or email to coordinate delivery dates, packaging, etc.
    
    
  • Tracking internal daily production progress and inventory records. Reporting large production deficiencies or excess production compared to planned quantities.
    
    
  • Tracking deliveries from vendors. Evaluating vendor performance against actual delivery quantities and due dates.
    
    
  • Tracking shipment performance to customers and analyzing the cause of mis-shipments.
    
    
  • Documentation & Coordination:
    
    
    • Obtaining and managing information for new parts or drawing changes through coordination with the Sales Department, including timing and routing for the Engineering Change Notice (ECN).
      
      
    • Determining packaging specifications for both internal and customer use and controlling the inventory of packaging.
      
      
    • Production Planning & Scheduling:
      
      
    • Creating accurate monthly production plans based on customer demand.
      
      
    • Determining the necessary manpower and production hours required to execute the monthly plan.
      
      
    • Establishing daily targets and ensuring they align with the monthly plan.
      
      
    • Calculating and communicating raw material needs to support the production schedule.
