Randstad is looking for a highly accurate and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist. You will be the main executor of payroll and benefits administration, directly ensuring the financial well-being and compliance of our workforce across multiple states.

Responsibilities
Payroll Administration & Compliance
- Process Management: Manage and execute the end-to-end payroll cycle (bi-weekly/monthly) for all employees (exempt/non-exempt), ensuring timeliness and 100% accuracy.
- Data Entry & Verification: Accurately enter and verify new hires, terminations, rate changes, time-off requests, and all earnings data in the HRIS/Payroll system.
- Calculations & Deductions: Calculate all wages, overtime, commissions, and deductions, including taxes, benefits premiums, and 401(k) contributions.
- Tax & Reporting: Maintain compliance with FLSA and multi-state tax laws. Support year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and tax filings.
- Reconciliation: Perform pre- and post-payroll audits and reconcile the payroll sub-ledger to the general ledger with the Finance team.
- Program Management: Administer all employee benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k)).
- Enrollment: Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and employee terminations across all benefit platforms.
- Open Enrollment (OE): Coordinate and execute the annual Open Enrollment process, including employee communication, data processing, and vendor interface updates.
- Employee Support: Serve as the first-level support for all employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and benefit coverage, maintaining high-touch customer service.
