- Previous experience in an inside sales, customer service, or product support role is preferred.
- Proficiency with order entry systems (ERP/CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer contact, ensuring all incoming calls are answered promptly (within three rings)
- Accurately process and enter sales orders into the system, generating necessary documentation
- Prepare and provide comprehensive price quotes, along with detailed information on credit terms, product warranties, and delivery timelines
- Proactively reach out to regular customers daily to share product information, promote specials, and secure new orders
- Serve as a product expert, assisting customers with inquiries regarding specifications, pricing, availability, and credit terms
- Consultatively recommend the optimal products and solutions based on the customer's specific needs, current inventory levels, and overall value
- Maintain a primary focus on the customer's success, recognizing that our goal is to help them effectively serve their own clientele
- Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure satisfaction, resolve any issues, and offer continued support
- Assist the Outside Sales team by gathering initial contact information and basic details for new potential customers
