In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, compiling, and managing all necessary documentation and records to efficiently clear goods through U.S. Customs.   We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with a solid foundation in customs brokerage.

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in customs brokerage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule:

• Training: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  
  
• Post-Training: Workers will transition to one of the following schedules:
  
  
  • Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    
    
  • Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

As an Entry Writer, your core focus will be on compliance and timely processing. Your tasks will include:

• Preparing and submitting customs entries for all shipments to be released from U.S. Customs.
• Reviewing documents for accuracy and ensuring full compliance with customs regulations.
• Creating invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the billing department.
• Managing and maintaining customer profiles.
• Storing files and accurately entering information into our system.
• Tracking and managing a daily report for open shipments.
