Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  
  
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  
  
• Execute month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  
  
• Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual variance reports and provide insightful commentary to property management teams.
  
  
• Handle complex Common Area Maintenance (CAM), real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations and billings.
  
  
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare bank reconciliations for all assigned properties.
  
  
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  
  
• Support internal and external audits and tax preparation processes.
