Responsibilities
The legal biller is responsible for managing and processing invoices for legal services. This role requires an understanding of billing software, legal terminology, and client billing guidelines to ensure accurate and timely billing. They play a crucial part in maintaining financial records and supporting the firm's revenue cycle.
- Prepare and process client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review and verify billing data, ensuring compliance with client agreements and firm policies.
- Maintain detailed billing records and client information.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries regarding invoices.
- Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to gather necessary billing information
