Are you ready to flex your AR skills immediately?  We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join an accounting team at a nationwide manufacturer in Novi.   You would assist with all facets of the accounts receivable process, including cash application, working deductions, sending chargeback letters to customers, credit holds, collections, customer communication, and supporting month-end closing activities. This is a contract opening (potentially contract-to-hire) with one required in-office work day (Wednesdays). Responsibilities

• Accurately process daily cash applications in ASI system
• Investigate and resolve customer deductions to maintain accurate account balances
• Prepare and process credits in response to validated claims and adjustments
• Prepare and send chargeback letters to customers
• Monitor and update the credit hold report to support order release decisions
• Execute collection activities to recover outstanding balances
• Maintain and update customer account data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests
• Process daily bank files to reconcile transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting
