What We're Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum Required).
- Experience: At least 1 year of lab experience outside of your bachelor’s degree, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Requires knowledge, practical application, and understanding of analytical chemistry.
- Foundational Skills: A working knowledge of statistics, data processing, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential.
- Instrumentation: Good working knowledge of advanced laboratory instrumentation and personal computer skills are required.
The Ideal Candidate (Preferred & Soft Skills)
- Experience in wet analytical methods and instrumentation techniques is preferred (HPLC, UV, GC, IR, and AA preferred).
- Must be self-motivated and work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrates initiative, a willingness to learn, and solid analytical problem-solving skills.
- Possesses effective written and interpretive communication skills for conveying ideas and results to colleagues and supervision.

Responsibilities
Quality Control Analyst
This role involves performing qualitative and quantitative analysis on intermediates, pure drug substances, and finished pharmaceutical products to determine disposition. The analyst ensures all products meet company, NF, and USP/compendia standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytical Testing: Perform standard chemical analysis and routine testing of in-process, finished bulk, and stability products.
- Instrumentation: Utilize both standard bench chemistry techniques and sophisticated instrumentation, including HPLC, spectrophotometers, and viscometers.
- Documentation & Data: Maintain accurate records of all analysis information, evaluating the data obtained.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere strictly to GMPs, ISO standards, and corporate safety programs.
- Troubleshooting: Consult with a Supervisor on discrepancies, recommending additional testing, and assisting in troubleshooting analytical methodology, instrumentation malfunctions, and non-compliance investigations.
