Key Responsibilities
Executive Oversight & Financial Management
- Own the project's financial performance, ensuring profitability goals are met through diligent cost control, accurate forecasting, and managing the overall project budget ($$$100M+).
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and administration of the Prime Contract, all major Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders, managing scope and minimizing risk exposure.
- Direct the entire change management process, meticulously evaluating, pricing, and executing all owner- and subcontractor-driven change events.
- Implement stringent quality control procedures and execute a zero-tolerance safety program in accordance with all regulatory and corporate standards.
- Leadership & Development: Mentor and direct the entire project team (Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents), assigning responsibilities and promoting technical expertise.
- Serve as the chief point of contact and primary negotiator with the Owner
- Actively engage in the pre-construction phase, providing constructability reviews, value engineering suggestions, and finalizing budget and schedule baselines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience working for a top-tier General Contractor on large, commercial, multi-family, mixed-used ground up projects
- Project Scale: Demonstrated experience as the lead Project Manager on at least two (2) ground-up projects valued individually at $$$100 Million or more.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency and proven experience with industry-standard software, including Primavera P6 (required), Procore or CMiC, and MS Office Suite.
