Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing daily financial transactions and administrative tasks within the Accounts Payable function, with a specific focus on utilizing the Epicor ERP system. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, manages vendor records, and supports the month-end closing process, all while adhering to internal controls and company policies.

• Process vendor invoices and credit memos directly within the Epicor Accounts Payable module.
  
  
• Perform two-way and three-way matching of invoices against purchase orders (POs) and goods receipt records (e.g., in the Epicor Purchase Management and AP modules) to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  
  
• Generate and process payment runs (checks, ACH, EFT) using the Epicor system, ensuring adherence to payment terms and discount opportunities.
  
  
• Run and analyze reports from Epicor, such as the Accounts Payable Aging Report and Received Not Invoiced (RNI) report, to manage liabilities and assist with reconciliations.
  
  
• Reconcile vendor statements to the Accounts Payable ledger, identifying and correcting any outstanding issues or unrecorded invoices.
