What You'll Do:

• Manage key aspects of the month-end close, including preparing and recording all journal entries.
  
  
• Take responsibility for preparing the complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  
  
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all supporting schedules and workbooks are accurate and reconciled.
  
  
• Conduct detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis and report on your findings.
  
  
• Prepare comprehensive financial packages for external audits and tax filings, serving as a key point of contact for inquiries.
  
  
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and provide direct support to the Accounting Manager and Controller on special projects.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  
  
• Analysis: Conduct detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis and report on key findings.
  
  
• Audit & Tax: Prepare comprehensive schedules and documentation for external audits and tax filings; serve as a key point of contact for inquiries.
  
  
• Budgeting: Partner with internal teams to assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  
  
• Team Support: Act as a key support resource for the Accounting Manager and Controller on high-priority tasks and ad-hoc analysis.
  
  
• Compliance: Ensure all accounting transactions and reporting adhere to GAAP standards
