Responsibilities
- 5+ years payroll processing that includes complex payroll of at least 600 employees; utilization of ADP automated payroll system to include report design
- 3+ years accounting experience to include knowledge of transaction balancing; familiarity with payroll reporting including completing government surveys, IRS tax reporting, and garnishments
- 3 + years of functional and technical HR, Payroll and HRIS experience.
- Audits data input in the HRIS (ADP WFN) due to New Hires and Salary Change Forms.
- Verifies data input and makes changes in HRIS (Payroll/Time) due to Personnel Action Forms.
- Processes all additional requests for wage payments, including awards/incentives, on call pay, etc.
- Completes analysis of payroll tax and garnishment processes to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
- Provides payroll tax and garnishment guidance to payroll team members.
- Performs routine internal audits of various payroll areas to ensure operational SOX controls are achieved in partnership with the Payroll, HRIS and Benefits Manager.
