The Fund Accountant is responsible for providing specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios within the business line. This role leverages fund accounting technology to execute key aspects of Net Asset Value (NAV) reporting and ensures all daily accounting deliverables are timely and accurate.

Responsibilities

• NAV Execution: Complete one or more key aspects of net asset value execution, including:
  
  
  • Transactions

• Issue Management & Resolution:
  
  
  • Identify and resolve breaks (break identification and resolution).
    
    
  • Monitor and assist in the resolution of all issues.
    
    
  • Follow up on open inquiries and break resolution items.
    
    
  • Interact with other internal depts. to resolve issues.
    
    
• Quality & Deadline Management:
  
  
  • Manage daily volume and production reporting.
    
    
  • Ensure daily output maintains department/team standards for quality and timeliness.
    
    
  • Help to ensure team deadlines and/or requirements are being met.
    
    
  • Manage multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently despite resource and time constraints.
    
    
• Communication & Reporting:
  
  
  • Serve as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.
    
    
  • Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure.
    
    
  • Communicate with internal departments as necessary.
    
    
  • Contribute to Management Reporting (e.g., Clarity, PVC’s, past dues, cash breaks, R and A analysis).
