A manufacturing company in the food supply industry is seeking a Customer Account Manager to join their growing team in Melville, NY! The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional support to customers through efficient order processing, timely communication, and effective problem-solving. Acting as a critical liaison between internal departments and external clients, this role ensures a smooth and responsive customer experience while supporting broader business and operational goals. This position plays a pivotal role in addressing customer concerns, coordinating with sales and logistics teams, and maintaining accurate documentation across all customer touchpoints.  We are seeking with someone with atleast 4 years of experience in a similar industry. Responsibilities

• Process incoming customer orders and revisions accurately, ensuring proper pricing, minimums, and order details
• Maintain effective communication with customers regarding order status, returns, delivery schedules, and resolution of inquiries or concerns
• Identify and resolve customer discrepancies related to shipping, data accuracy, product returns, or pricing issues in alignment with company policies
• Collaborate with logistics and other departments to balance cost efficiency with service excellence while aligning with business objectives.
• Manage and maintain customer records, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date information.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Foster customer relationships by understanding client expectations, proactively resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
• Respond to internal and external customer requests and inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
• Utilize ERP or SAP systems to track orders, analyze service metrics, and identify root causes of service delays or errors (ERP/SAP experience preferred).
• Support the development and implementation of customer service standard operating procedures (SOPs).
