Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Fluent in Spanish (read, write, speak)
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person on the team
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Coordinates the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc. for entry level employees
- Assist with recruitment for higher level employees as needed
- ATS management for applicants, HRIS data entry for new hires or any changes employees may have
- Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
- Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires
- Assist in interpretation of policies with leadership as well as assist with delivering policy information to employees as needed
- Proficient in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (ADP)
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources background
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
