This pivotal role requires a seasoned and hands-on VP of Finance with deep expertise in the Government Contracting (GovCon) Manufacturing industry. The individual will be instrumental in guiding the organization through its daily financial operations, managing a complex integration of core accounting software, and navigating significant corporate transactions. This position demands a tactical expert who can seamlessly transition to a strategic advisor, driving efficiency and technical compliance across the entire finance function as the company prepares for substantial growth. -Deltek Costpoint experience***

Responsibilities

• Oversee all core accounting functions including GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, and critical program finance management.
  
  
• Ensure strict compliance with ASC 606 for revenue recognition in a government contracting setting.
  
  
• Drive ongoing projects to integrate Deltek Costpoint and digitize financial reporting.
  
  
• Provide technical accounting leadership and support integration efforts for the pending acquisition.
  
  
• Manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring an efficient and accurate monthly close process.
  
  
• Maintain a hands-on approach while scaling operational capabilities across the finance team.
  
  
• Translate tactical execution into strategic guidance for senior leadership.
