Responsibilities
- Vendor Relationship Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact for large, strategic vendors regarding product timelines, inventory levels, delivery schedules, and managing all product specification changes.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the product development process from initial concept/scoping through to final production sign-off, ensuring alignment with both vendor requirements and internal production capabilities.
- Logistics & Quality Control: Work directly with Inventory, Quality Control, and Shipping teams to manage 'shelf-time' and product freshness metrics, coordinate final packaging and labeling, and ensure successful, on-time delivery to vendor distribution centers.
- Project Planning & Tracking: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines for all new product launches and vendor-specific initiatives, proactively identifying and mitigating potential production or delivery delays.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and drive collaboration across multiple internal departments, including Product Development, Production, Quality Assurance, and Shipping/Logistics, to ensure unified execution.
- Inventory Analysis: Monitor inventory levels and utilize data analysis to forecast product needs based on vendor contracts and shelf-life limitations.
