Responsibilities
Drive the production of all financial reports, encompassing the drafting of comprehensive financial statements, key reports, and annual budgets.
Guarantee adherence to all established accounting principles (GAAP), industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Interpret complex financial data to deliver strategic insights that inform and empower executive decision-making.
Serve as the primary liaison and point person for the coordination and successful completion of external financial audits.
Perform detailed analysis of financial variances, investigating discrepancies and proposing effective solutions or corrective measures.
Contribute expertise to the development of financial planning and forecasting models.
Proactively track and implement updates to evolving accounting standards and governmental regulations.
Develop specialized or situational financial reports and analyses in response to specific business needs.
Manage and track the company's cash position and liquidity, utilizing cash forecasts to ensure optimal funding levels.
Execute the complete monthly close cycle, which involves reviewing statements, posting essential journal entries, and reconciling all balance sheet accounts.
Present clear financial findings, results, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and management.
Support the ongoing configuration and optimization of the NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
