- Manage all accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, adjustments/credit memos, and monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit grant and contract reimbursement packets; track aging by funder and program.
- Monitor A/R aging, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely collections while maintaining partner/vendor relationships.
- Maintain documentation for audits and assist with month-end close processes.
- Partner with Program, Operations, and Finance teams to align billing with deliverables and supporting documentation.
- Track and reconcile revenue across multiple funding sources.
- Support budget development, performance tracking, and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial reports for leadership and funders.
- Assist with monthly reconciliations and audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of AR or accounting experience (nonprofit or grant-funded experience preferred).
- Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations) and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
- Proficiency with accounting systems specifically QuickBooks Online and a comfort in learning new tools
- Highly accurate, organized, and deadline-driven, with professional communication skills.
- Integrity in handling sensitive financial data; must pass background/reference checks
- Experience with grant accounting, reimbursements, and audit preparation preferred.
