Responsibilities
The Mission: What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for core, routine microbial lab tasks in a high-volume environment:
- Routine Microbial Analysis: Perform essential microbial lab tasks, including plate counting, dilution, and sampling.
- Media Preparation: Follow established media recipes and solutions to accurately make agar and various media.
- Operational Support: Assist the team with other functions and duties as assigned, demonstrating agility for change in a fast-paced laboratory.
- Documentation: Utilize your knowledge of Windows-based computer programs for data tracking and recording.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry.
- Experience: 1–2 years’ experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Must possess solid technical and interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
