We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Associate I (MA 1) to join the MA Bio Ops team at our client's facility in Lexington, MA. This role offers an immediate start in a critical production environment.
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour
- Duration: 6-Month Contract with potential for extension
- Shift: Day Shift
You will perform routine cGMP manufacturing operations for the production of clinical and/or commercial products, operating production equipment according to SOPs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Normally requires a High School Diploma and 0–2 years related industry experience, OR an Associate’s Degree in a Life Sciences/Engineering field. A Biotech Certificate is desired.
- Key Skills: Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices. Ability to follow written instruction. Possess excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with aseptic technique is a plus.
This position is considered “Essential Personnel” and may require weekend or holiday off-shift support as needed.
- Ability to stand up to 6 hours in a production suite.
- Ability to lift, pull, or push equipment requiring up to 25–50 lbs. of force.
- Ability to gown and gain entry to biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities
- cGMP Operations (80%): Carry out cGMP manufacturing operations utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records, and Form Preps.
- Documentation & Data: Execute and perform requests for GMP documentation. Enter data in systems like the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), MODA, or other business systems.
- Equipment Support (10%): Manage equipment by performing scheduled cleaning and standardization. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of process equipment.
- Quality & Training: Complete required training on time and identify changes needed to documentation. Maintain training requirements and personal development plans.
