Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development/Sales Executive to join their team in Columbus, OH. This role is crucial for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across various B2B segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressively pursue new business opportunities through a combination of company-generated leads and proactive cold calling to schedule initial meetings.
- Engage clients in technical discussions, leveraging your background to effectively position the company’s thermal printer products and services.
- Conduct virtual and onsite meetings. Travel approximately 15–20% across the US, this includes the ability to travel and occasionally transport and present product demonstrations across various industries.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7 years of successful sales or business development experience.
- Proven background and understanding in a technical or electrical domain. While printer-specific experience is not required, the ability to grasp and discuss technical/electrical concepts with clients is essential.
- Sales Engineer or similar role where a strong technical background was combined with sales responsibilities is a significant plus.
