Responsibilities
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
- Prepare and post general ledger journal entries, including payroll and intercompany transactions.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timely.
- Review and post monthly inventory adjustment entries
- Review and validate expenses and similar items
- Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Maintain intercompany reconciliations and ensure proper alignment between all group entities.
- Support the improvement of the internal control environment and ensure the adherence to the internal controls in place.
- Coordinate and process annual Form 1099 issuance.
- Provide guidance and review the work of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialists
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
- Experience managing high transaction volumes with precision and efficiency.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g. NetSuite, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation functions.
