Responsibilities
- Oversee Client Engagement: Manage the successful transition and ongoing execution of managed services, ensuring client financial reporting packages and reconciliations are delivered on-time and accurately per service agreements.
- Manage End-to-End Accounting: Direct and maintain oversight of the end-to-end client accounting processes, including the general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and ensuring accurate and timely monthly close cycles.
- Quality and Risk Control: Consistently adhere to firm quality standards and internal controls. Analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of the entire financial system to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
- Project and Commercial Management: Take ownership of projects (client onboarding, special requests), ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Manage commercial aspects, performance, and delivery risk of the outsourced service.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coach a delivery team, providing effective mentorship and fostering development.
- Performance Review: Use the review of team members' work as a structured opportunity to deepen their expertise and ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
- Client Management: Serve as a key service contact, maintaining a strong client-service orientation while effectively managing multiple client priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
