Responsibilities
- Processing transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, and special handling.
- Break identification and resolution.
- Ensuring daily accounting deliverables are timely and accurate.
- Serving as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.
- Verifying information and escalating problem items.
- Managing daily volume and production reporting.
- Monitoring and assisting in the resolution of issues, including break follow-up and resolution.
- Following up on open inquiries.
- Interacting with internal departments on issue resolution.
- Communicating professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues and minimize risk and exposure.
- Helping to ensure team deadlines and/or requirements are being met.
- Contributing to Management Reporting (e.g., Clarity, PVC’s, past dues, cash breaks, R and A analysis).
- Gaining an understanding of the big picture of how the specific function impacts the firm.
- Contributing to Division/Firm process improvement activities and gaining efficiencies to improve individual productivity.
- Managing multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently despite resource and time constraints.
