A dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a part time compacity. This essential role is critical for maintaining the financial accuracy and efficiency of our operations. If you have 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role , possess a knowledge of accounting fundamentals , and thrive working 100% in office , we invite you to help us ensure accurate and timely processing across our multi-site portfolio.

salary: $23 - $24 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all invoices into the Great Plains ERP platform
  
  
• Manage the secure download and initial processing of high-volume external invoice documents
  
  
• Validate and assign correct GL accounts to all incoming invoices for precise cost allocation
  
  
• Maintain a comprehensive logging system for utility bills across over 150 sites to support expense analysis
  
  
• Assist the corporate accounting team with critical tasks required to achieve the monthly close
  
  
• Conduct research and prepare custom reports and analyses for internal stakeholders upon request
  
  
• Uphold the integrity and structure of the accounting records filing system for rapid retrieval and compliance
  
  
• Provide hands-on support to help the team meet rigorous deadlines during the critical monthly close cycle
  
  
• Support the finance department with general office and administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations
