Are you an accomplished Actuary ready to drive strategic pricing decisions and regulatory success from anywhere in the U.S.? We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Rate Filing Specialist to lead complex Personal Lines filings. This is a high-impact, fully remote opportunity where your technical expertise and strategic communication skills will directly ensure regulatory compliance and competitive pricing for our clients key product lines (Auto and Umbrella). You will pioneer solutions, mentor junior talent, and transform regulatory challenges into strategic wins within a supportive, growth-focused environment. What You Will Pioneer :
- Spearhead the end-to-end management of Personal Lines rate filings (Auto and Umbrella), serving as the primary lead for critical projects and direct engagement with state Departments of Insurance (DOIs).
- Mentor & Validate: Independently review and provide feedback on complex filings prepared by junior analysts, ensuring actuarial soundness and alignment with our overarching business strategy.
- Strategize Regulatory Response: Anticipate and resolve DOI objections with thoughtful, data-driven responses that protect the integrity of our filings and support business goals.
- Collaborate for Competitive Positioning: Partner with diverse internal stakeholders to guarantee that filings accurately reflect current market trends, regulatory expectations, and our competitive strategy.
- Experience: 4+ years of actuarial or analytical experience, including at least 2 years focused on Personal Lines rate filings in the United States.
- Required Designation: CAS ACAS or FCAS.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or another quantitative field.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, with the proven ability to assess complex regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences.
