Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable temp Finance & Accounting Specialist to support their finance team during a critical period. This role will assist with daily cash management, reconciliation tasks, and month-end financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting operations, very strong excel and analytical skills, and proficiency with financial systems.

salary: $27 - $30 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

- Prepare and distribute Daily Cash Balance and Balance Sheet reports.
- Monitor and manage account activity and initiate daily wire transfers to
- Maintain adequate balances in Settlement Account.
- Process and reconcile MoneyGram transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including: Cash in Transit and Mobile Deposits
- Assist with the purchase of investment securities as needed.
-  Prepare and post investment entries 
- Assist with lease accounting entries
- Compile and report departmental financial statements, including variance analysis.
- Process month-end entries for participation loans.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
