- Execute source selection , create Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages, and negotiate with suppliers (with pre-approval) to determine the lowest cost consistent with quality.
- Generate and execute Purchase Orders (POs) under $30K, and process supplier certifications and acknowledgements to ensure efficient workflow.
- Track and monitor past due purchase orders, meticulously updating SAP and posting detailed status notes for data accuracy and seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex supplier invoice issues to facilitate timely payment and uphold vendor relationships.
- Assist senior buyers in the meticulous creation of 9 tabs folders and participate in supplier visits and program review agenda development.
- Analyze statistical data, track price trends, and monitor supplier performance to identify areas of opportunity for material acquisitions and enhanced program support.
- Procurement Experience: Proven experience executing Purchase Orders, negotiating with suppliers, and working with Request for Quote (RFQ) processes.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree OR an Associate Degree with a minimum of four (4) years experience. A Supply Chain degree from Mississippi State is preferred.
- Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to present financial information clearly and succinctly.
