In this position, you’ll handle customer invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and reporting while supporting the AR Manager with month-end close activities. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of experience in accounts receivable, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Excel and accounting software (Intacct or similar preferred).
This is a hybrid role requiring you to be onsite in our Richmond office approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities
• Convert, prepare, review, and deliver invoices to customers in a timely manner
• Generate customer statements and accounting reports
• Research cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts
• Establish Accounts Receivable monthly, quarterly and annual metric
• Track and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Collect outstanding/past due invoices
• Assist in projecting cash receipts
• Document and monitor internal controls in support of accounting team
• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting/finance
team or other departments
