This is a vital position responsible for the complete accounts payable cycle, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently in a compliant manner. What You'll Do: Manage the full A/P process, from invoice coding and matching to processing weekly check runs and ACH payments Own the compliance process for A/P, including the crucial task of preparing and filing annual 1099 forms. Oversee the corporate credit card program, ensuring proper documentation, coding, and monthly reconciliation Qualifications:

• 2+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP/Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, Acumatica).
• Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle A/P: accurately process, code, and match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare and execute all disbursements, including weekly check runs and ACH payments.
• Perform A/P subledger to general ledger reconciliation to support month-end closing activities
• Manage the vendor setup process and maintain the approved vendor master list.
• Ensure all necessary vendor documentation (W-9s, tax IDs, addresses) is current and complete
• Prepare, review, and accurately file annual 1099 forms in compliance with IRS regulations
• Administer the company credit card program, ensuring transactions are properly coded and supported with receipts.
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements and resolve discrepancies
• Identify opportunities and recommend improvements to enhance A/P efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with various accounting initiatives and special projects as required
