Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance Management: Lead the coordination, preparation, and timely filing of federal, state, sales, and property tax returns in partnership with company tax accountants.
- Audit Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between external auditors and the department, efficiently managing data requests and preparing the annual consolidation audit packages.
- Complex Reconciliation: Reconcile key revenue and cost transactions, including sales margins, customer rebates, royalties, and freight, while conducting mid-level General Ledger reviews to correct recorded errors.
- Fixed Asset Oversight: Administer the full fixed asset lifecycle, from recording changes and reconciling to the General Ledger, through to coordinating physical inventory.
- Financial Close Support: Directly contribute to the successful monthly financial close by preparing assigned journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
