Location: Remote Hours: Full-time, flexible within 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST We are seeking a highly meticulous Provider Enrollment and Credentialing Specialist for a critical data integrity and verification project. This role is essential for maintaining accurate provider records within a major healthcare network.

Role Focus: Data Accuracy and Credentialing The primary responsibility is ensuring 100% data accuracy in provider enrollment and credentialing processes. Speed is secondary to the quality of the data.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Data Validation: Review and process large volumes of provider data, cross-referencing external files with internal systems (including Winward and Cactus).
  
  
  • Note: Tasks involve processing either Provider Ops Winward data or Symplr Credentialing data cleanup.
    
    
• Verification: Perform comprehensive verification of provider credentials: licensure, NPI, DEA/CDS, insurance, education, and board certification.
  
  
• Compliance Checks: Run background checks via NPDB, OIG, SAM, and Medicare OPT Out reports to confirm eligibility and compliance.
  
  
• System Entry: Accurately enter and maintain provider information in payment systems (Windward) and the credentialing database (Cactus).
  
  
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all files meet compliance standards and assist with NCQA certification activities.
  
  

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of job-related experience.
  
  
• Analytical skills and obsessive attention to detail.
  
  
• Proficiency in PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  
  
• Comfortable using personal equipment with VDI access.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with large-scale data files or coordination.
  
  
• Knowledge of Dental terminology.
