Responsibilities
- Oversee financial activities and ensure the timely, accurate accounting, analysis and reporting across the accounting team.
- Drive efficiency across all daily accouning activities; continuously strive to improve processes.
- Responsible for the fiscal close process, financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuacy of journal entries, reconcilialtions, accruals.
- Execute continuous financial modeling and predictive forecasting to inform and enable the organization's strategic roadmap.
- Evaluate critical business indicators and performance data across the organization to identify trends and risks.
- Develop and validate annual resource allocation documents, delivering in-depth comparative analysis of performance against projections to executive leadership.
- Provide rapid, project-based financial insights and execute specialized analytical assignments upon request.
- Define and implement best practices, and organizational principles in alignment with regulatory standards; ensure in accrodance with US GAAP.
- Manage compliance filings related to indirect taxes and asset declarations.
- Maintain integrity of cash management processes through systematic reconciliation and mandatory bank submissions.
- Coordinate external annual audits.
- Ensure optimal utilization and maintenance of all core financial management platforms and systems.
- Train, motivate and develop staff across all accounting functions
