- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal
- Direct experience supporting practice areas such as insurance defense or medical malpractice is highly preferred but not required
- Expert proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook), NetDocs and Law Tool Box
- Prior experience with state and federal e-filing systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines under pressure

Responsibilities
- Accurately preparing legal documents, correspondence, and various pleadings from dictation and handwritten notes.
- Managing and processing all aspects of state and federal court filings, including electronic filing (e-filing) procedures, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and local rules.
- Preparing, formatting, and coordinating the service of written discovery (interrogatories, requests for production) and other formal pleadings essential to litigation.
- Maintaining meticulous organization of electronic and physical case files, correspondence, and client documents. This role will handle a high volume of paperwork and requires efficient organizational methods.
- Managing attorney calendars, scheduling depositions and meetings, coordinating travel, and handling routine correspondence and phone calls.
- Meticulously proofreading and editing all legal documents to ensure accuracy, grammar, and proper legal citation before submission
