senior accounts payable clerk .

We are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk with at least 4 years of high volume accounts payable experience.  Must florish in a high volume, fast paced environment and have excellent attention to details.  Must be able to work 100% Onsite.  Qualifications:

• 5 plus years of High Volume Accounts Payable experience
• Proficiency with 10-key data entry
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to hit the ground running and flourish in a fast paced environment
• Must have experience working with a large ERP system like Peoplesoft, SAP or Oracle
• Must have intermediate skills using Microsoft Office

salary: $22 - $22.85 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers through analysis of invoice and expense reports, and recording entries accordingly
• Pay vendors by Monitoring discount opportunities
• Verifying federal ID numbers
• Scheduling and preparing checks
• Resolving discrepancies and documentation issues related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments
• Ensuring credits are received for outstanding memos
• Issuing stop-payments or amending purchase orders as necessary
