In this role, you will provide real-time Korean ↔ English interpretation for meetings of all sizes, including presentations, technical discussions, and cross-department collaborations. You will also translate and edit a variety of documents—from technical specifications and training materials to internal communications—while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company standards. This position requires strong linguistic ability, excellent attention to detail, and the flexibility to handle urgent or short-notice meetings.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver real-time interpretation (simultaneous, consecutive, and whisper) for meetings and team discussions.
- Support urgent or short-notice interpreting needs in a fast-moving environment.
- Translate and edit technical and business documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain strong knowledge of industry and company terminology; support glossary development.
- Coordinate interpretation and translation workflows to ensure timely support across teams.
- Assist with onboarding and guiding new team members through terminology and process support.
- Prepare and manage interpretation devices and collaborate with partner-company interpreters.
- Minimum 2+ years of interpreting or translation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Fluency in Korean and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
