We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Bookkeeper to be a core member of our accounting team. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, managing payroll, ensuring GAAP compliance, and supporting timely financial reporting. This is a critical role for someone who thrives on detail and process integrity.

salary: $24 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter transactions and ensure adherence to GAAP
  
  
• Weekly processing of client receivables and vendor payments.
  
  
• Reconcile cash, investments, clients, vendors, and GL accounts.
  
  
• Perform thorough account variance analysis and communicate issues/resolutions.
  
  
• Weekly timesheets and bi-weekly payroll processing; ensure legal compliance.
  
  
• Prepare and file employer federal and state tax returns on time.
  
  
• Assist the Controller with quarterly Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow forecasts.
  
  
• Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial questions.
  
  
• Organize, compile, and upload requested documentation for independent auditors.
  
  
• Document and regularly update financial processes for continuous improvement.
