We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our client's dedicated Revenue Cycle team. This role requires a true self-starter who can manage their workflow independently and meet critical deadlines. Familiarity with common insurance payer websites (like Availity, Change Healthcare, specific state Medicaid portals) for eligibility verification, claim status checks, and appeals submission preferred. What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in Revenue Cycle Management and medical billing.
- Deep experience working with Medicaid claims and processes.
- Analytical skills with a track record of successfully resolving claim denials.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to be a self-starter and maintain high productivity while working independently.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including a potentially noisy office setting or a home office

Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve a high volume of outstanding insurance claims, with a primary focus on Medicaid payers.
- Identify, analyze, and appeal complex claim denials to maximize reimbursement.
- Apply expert knowledge of CPT/Procedure codes to correct and resubmit claims accurately.
- Actively work the accounts receivable aging report to ensure timely follow-up and collections.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all collection efforts within the billing system.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel proficiently, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, for data analysis and reporting.
