Research & Insight Generation You will be the core expert, dedicated to uncovering the future of fashion. Your role involves managing in-depth trend research for delegated categories, ensuring our strategy is forward-thinking and informed.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive trend research using top-tier services.
- Competitive Analysis: Scour online retail and review brand marketing emails daily to identify trend consistencies, monitor key product callouts, and build essential retail reference lists.
- Strategic Callouts: Research and report on seasonal features, pop-ups, sustainability, and I&D, distilling findings into key category updates and influencer/collaboration opportunities.
- Media Savvy: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring social media, blogs, and podcasts for daily emerging content and trends.
- Visual Storytelling: Create impactful visual aids, including mood boards, trend alerts, signage, and material/color/print boards, to support all research callouts.
- Asset Management: Systematically save and label all seasonal imagery (with brand names) and trend books, uploading them to Media Beacon for team access.
- Presentation Coordination: Organize all assets and information specifically to support the movements and direction for ladies' apparel.
- Global Distribution: Coordinate printing with external vendors, ensuring all boards, signs, and duplicate copies of the Apparel/Accessories books are distributed to buying offices around the world.

Responsibilities
• Manage research on categories delegated by Manager (Apparel/Accessories) and assist in research on additional categories depending on team workload
• Research utilizing trend services (WGSN/DONEGER/ FUTURE SNOOPS)
• Visit online retail searching for trend consistencies and imagery supporting consistencies
• Review brand marketing emails for trend/product call outs
• Research for features seasonal/ pop ups/ sustainability/ I&D
• Create lists of trend call outs/consistencies and share with team
• Based on research come up with key callouts and updates per category
• Stay current on new content and trends - reading blogs, going on trend services, listening to podcasts and social media daily for research
• Research relevant influencers and collaborations
• Create visual tools to support trend research callouts- trend alerts, signage, mood boards, color/print/material boards etc.
• Create retail lists for each category based on purchased product
