Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and prospective customers, ensuring their inquiries and requests are handled with professionalism and accuracy.
- Customer Communication: Answer and resolve telephone inquiries/requests in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner, using proper telephone etiquette and available resources.
- Troubleshooting & Follow-up: Troubleshoot inquiries and proactively follow up with customers on issues that require additional resolution time.
- Reporting Results: Report laboratory results to clients and patients, strictly adhering to established protocols.
- Client Education: Provide education and guidance to clients regarding our lab processes.
- Documentation: Complete all required documentation associated with handling calls and maintain complete and accurate records.
- Issue Resolution: Follow through in a timely manner to resolve all issues and concerns while maintaining a professional and tactful manner in stressful situations.
- Escalation: Escalate issues appropriately to keep supervisors informed of client concerns, problems, or deviations from established procedures.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs or customer requirements.
