Seeking an experienced P&C Underwriter (3+ years MGA/Insurance Co. exp. required) to join a growth-focused wholesaler in downtown Dallas, TX.
- Must build and manage a profitable book, generating $20K+ monthly income.
- Requires expertise in rating, coverage, and agent development.
- Entrepreneurial drive a must.

Responsibilities
- Develop the business of an assigned group of retail agents.
- Issue quotes to the agents in a timely and professional manner.
- Agents must follow the philosophy regarding submitting applications, binding risks, and paying in a timely manner.
- Upon receiving binder requests, follow all necessary procedures to produce policies in a timely manner.
- Develop good relationships with all market representatives.
- Agents must regularly produce a good flow of submissions and have an average "hit ratio" of 33%.
- Produce a book of business that generates at least $20,000 monthly in net income to the organization.
- Must have prior experience as a P&C Underwriter at an MGA or commercial insurance company.
