This role performs comprehensive audits and resolution activities across the entire claims lifecycle, ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and strict compliance with payer requirements. Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Claim Audit & Correction: Perform in-depth audits to identify billing, payment, and adjustment errors. Independently correct complex claim discrepancies with high accuracy and within tight turnaround times.
- Complex Follow-Up & Dispute Resolution: Proactively investigate delayed, denied, or pended claims. Determine the root cause of processing delays (missing info, system errors) and implement definitive corrective action.
- Revenue Cycle Coordination: Validate eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements, resolving discrepancies directly with payers or internal clinical and business office teams.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all claim data, coding, and processing align with payer rules, reimbursement methodologies, and member plan benefits.
