We are representing a rapidly growing, Private Equity-backed industrial services organization based in West Plano. With multiple operating entities across several states and upcoming growth on the horizon, they are looking to add a key member to their accounting team. We are looking for more than just a data entry clerk. We are seeking a forward thinking Accounts Payable professional who understands multi-entity accounting and can bring a proactive mindset to the team. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage the full-cycle AP process for specific entities, adapt quickly to new systems, and identify opportunities to improve processes. Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity AP Management: Take ownership of the accounts payable function for assigned operating entities, ensuring accurate coding and general ledger allocation.
• Invoice Processing: High-volume processing of vendor invoices; collaborate with the Purchasing Department to ensure accurate 3-way matching against Purchase Orders.
• Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Payment Runs: Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Process Improvement: Actively identify bottlenecks in the AP workflow and suggest ideas to streamline operations or improve accuracy.
• Month-End Support: Assist the accounting team during month-end close, including accruals and account reconciliations (requires some overtime availability).
• Cross-Functional Support: Cross-train with the Accounts Receivable team to provide backup coverage during absences.
