Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accuracy & Timely Posting: Accurately review and post daily client payments, manage exceptions including missing payments, write-offs, and appeal requests to ensure timely and precise financial records.
- Collections and A/R Management: Proactively follow up on overdue invoices with claim representatives, adjusters, and clients via email and phone, including the preparation and dispatch of formal letters and overdue notices to insured parties.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal counsel and internal billing teams to efficiently manage and resolve appeal submissions, unauthorized deductions, and invoice corrections, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication to all stakeholders.
- System and Data Integrity: Maintain current and accurate records within ARCS (Accounts Receivable Collection System), systematically track flagged email correspondence, and issue follow-up reminders to ensure the timely resolution of all outstanding account balances.
- Client Service and Reporting: Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients by preparing detailed reports, addressing inquiries, and providing solutions related to payments, account status, and appeals processes.
- Process Improvement and Compliance: Continuously update and develop internal procedures to ensure smooth, compliant operations, and strict adherence to all departmental and external deadlines.
