Responsibilities

The DSCSA Exceptions Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring compliance and traceability of
pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent
communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, aligned with the organization’s commitment to quality and
accuracy. Must be willing to get DSCSA licensing. Employer will pay for the licensing. 


Essential Functions
 Investigate and resolve discrepancies (damages, shortages, overages, etc.) for all prescription products received inbound and sent outbound.
 Complete exception handling related to incoming shipments including data discrepancies, damaged products, overages, shortages, and product identifier issues.
 Manage exceptions related to DSCSA data and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
 Resolve tickets involving shipment discrepancies, data errors, or system issues.
 Participate in and lead resolution initiatives and improvement projects independently.
 Support compliance with efforts through accurate documentation and traceability of pharmaceutical products
 Provide reports and metrics as required
