We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing accounting team! The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be proficient in managing the full accounts receivable cycle, specifically focusing on complex progress billing and compliance documentation. This is defined as a project to hire role, with full time working hours.

salary: $24 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit comprehensive progress billings, including AIA Applications for payment and complete invoice packages to ensure timely project funding
  
  
• Review and accurately process modifications to project finances, such as change orders, extra work requests, and necessary billing adjustments
  
  
• Proactively monitor accounts receivable aging, engage in follow-up on overdue invoices, and resolve payment issues to minimize outstanding balances
  
  
• Main billing POC, effectively managing all billing inquiries and providing accurate updates on payment and account status
  
  
• Accurately process incoming customer payments, apply cash receipts, perform AR account reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies in collaboration with project managers
  
  
• Produce regular AR aging reports and collection status summaries to provide management with clear, actionable insights into outstanding receivables
