Key Responsibilities
- Promote workers’ compensation incidents to claims within the Origami system and follow up to gather missing information.
- Notify regulatory entities of new claims via electronic FROI.
- Sort, distribute, and process all incoming mail for the department.
- Scan, label, and attach legal and medical documents to the appropriate claim files.
- Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and support departmental efficiency.
- Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
- strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with self-insured or TPA claims is a strong plus.
- Previous clerical or administrative experience required.
- Experience in insurance, workers’ compensation, or a medical office setting preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and Windows-based systems.
- College education required; Bachelor’s in Business or related field preferred.
- Looking to grow their career in claims, insurance, risk management, or healthcare administration.
- Able to work onsite full-time.
- Motivated, reliable, and ready to support a high-impact team.
salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
